About Dr. Mandar Agashe

Dr. Mandar Agashe is a pioneering Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon and a leading expert in paediatric hip surgery in India. He completed elite international fellowship training at prestigious centers worldwide, including BJ Wadia Children's Hospital (Mumbai), Rady Children’s Hospital (San Diego, USA), and KUMC (Seoul, South Korea). Driven by a commitment to advanced subspecialty care, he established and runs the highly successful Children’s Hip Preservation Services (CHiPS), making him one of the few surgeons in the country specialized in Adolescent Hip Preservation.

Alongside his active clinical practice, he is a dedicated academic and researcher with more than 40 international peer-reviewed articles and 20 book chapters to his credit. He is also the editor of the critically acclaimed textbook, "Paediatric Orthopaedic Trauma: Protocols and Techniques." He shares his extensive expertise with the next generation of surgeons as an Honorary Consultant with teaching attachments at BJ Wadia Children's Hospital and the Sir JJ Group of Hospitals.
